The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), formed on November 04, 1975, and headquartered in New Delhi, India, is the division of Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). It is the premier Indian organization to recruit staff for various posts in various ministries, departments and organizations in the Government of India.
The SSC JE 2022 will be conducted for 1000+ expected vacancies for civil, mechanical, electrical & quantity surveying & contract posts. The exam is conducted nationally in four stages as follows –
- Paper 1 – Objective Type Questions for 200 marks
- Paper 2 – Written Descriptive Test for 300 marks
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination

SSC JE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The SSC JE eligibility is important to apply for the exam and then get selected for it.
Candidates applying for SSC can be a citizen of any of the following nations –
- The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee from January 01, 1962 or earlier, and settled in India
- An Indian citizen who migrated to the country to settle permanently in India (only certain nations are eligible)

There is no minimum age criteria to appear for the SSC JE Exam. The post-wise maximum age criteria for General category is as follows –

● Must have passed the Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying (Sub Divisional-II) from the Institute of Surveyors (India)
